A letter addressed to Senator Theodore Bilbo from someone in Lakeville, Minnesota, thanking him for setting a $1 million reward for the capture of Adolf Hitler. The writer states his belief that Hitler didn't die in 1945, but instead changed his appearance and went into disguise after the war. He further asserts his belief that German Americans, which he claims are all over Minnesota, are ruining his state and by extension the country.

Dear Senator Bilbo

I was so glad to see the notice in the paper offering 1,000,000 for the rat. no he not dead (sic) he has shaved that few long bristles of (sic) his head and lip and I think he using (sic) leg make up on that face and possible a tan wig. O yes by all means let us catch that dirty german and there should not be one of them allowed to enter this country for years. a german a (indistinguishable.) Minnesota is lousy with them. thats what spoils the state
Thank God we squelched them for all time to come
