Dear Senator:-
As a qualified voter and a citizen of Mississippi, I am writing to urge you to use your influence and your vote in behalf of bill No. S-517. You remember quite well, I am sure, that when the President was before the voters the first time one of the campaign promises, was that the “Dry States” would be protected from the liquor dealers and their propaganda. This bill, I am reliably informed, has for its purpose the fulfillment of this promise.
